Apex — Terms of Use

Last updated: 23 September 2026

Applies to Apex on Android. On iPhone, Apex is covered by Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement.

Apex is made by Vasil Krumov. By installing or using Apex you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Licence

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Apex on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not resell the app, redistribute it, or attempt to extract its data feeds for a competing product.

What Apex is

Apex is an unofficial Formula 1 companion. It displays publicly available sports information — session times, results and championship standings — gathered from open data sources. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Formula 1 companies in any way.

Accuracy

Session times, starting grids and results come from third-party open data and are provided as-is. They can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and schedules change. Apex is not a substitute for official timing. Do not rely on it for anything that matters — including, in particular, not missing a race.

Apex Pro

Apex is free to use. Apex Pro is an optional upgrade that unlocks the Championship widget, practice-session alerts and historical seasons. It is sold in one of two ways:

Prices are shown in your local currency before you buy. All payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by Google Play, not by Apex. Manage or cancel a subscription in the Play Store app under Payments & subscriptions. Refund requests go to Google Play; we cannot process them.

Privacy

Apex collects nothing. See the privacy policy.

Availability

Apex depends on free, community-run data services. Those services can change, rate-limit or disappear, and features that depend on them may stop working. We may change or discontinue parts of the app, though we will not knowingly remove something you paid for.

Liability

Apex is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for any loss arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law in your country — including, in the EU and UK, your statutory rights regarding digital purchases.

Changes

If these terms change, the update will be posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use Apex after a change means you accept it.
